Our first full day in Florence started with an ample breakfast at La Contessina (we get to do this everyday!). Then we were off on another orientation walkabout that took us through the market and to the Duomo again and onward to the Arno River and back home. We joined thousands of other tourists doing the same thing we were! We took in the central food market and also had our first supermarket shopping experience (it was mostly in the wine and beverage department!). A little rain shower in the afternoon made it a perfect time to have a little nap and then enjoy each other's company in the courtyard for our "wine-down".
