Our goal today was walking and talking our way to the Arno River and back home again. Florence is a very walkable city so we can find everything on foot here. No need for a taxi, bus, motor scooter or bicycle! You will see from our photos many of the sights we saw as we toured around the city today. Everyone feels pretty confident about getting out on their own - at least for a little distance. We had a good lunch together near the river and a fun time at our "wine down" in the La Contessina courtyard. Jet lag is still hanging around but will hopefully be gone by tomorrow.
